Tyron Mallard
Clinical Director, LMSW, LCPC

I am a firm believer that the only thing that separates a counselor/therapist from the client is a current need. With this belief, I strive to help clients through current life struggles in a non-judgmental environment.

My work is informed through collaboration with clients, education, experience, and empathy. As a professional counselor and social worker, my comprehensive approach to therapy enables clients to identify and change the patterns that often create barriers to emotional, social, educational, and occupational growth.

Our practice utilizes a strength-based, behavioral therapy approach to counseling and emotional healing. I specialize in working with a variety of clients. I have extensive training and experience in working with adults and adolescents with co-occurring, trauma and stress-related concerns, youth and adults in crisis, and mood disorders.

My work focuses on trauma-informed therapy, behavioral issues, stress reduction techniques, and life coaching – just to name a few. I believe in implementing appropriate treatment modalities to help the person as a whole and can include motivational interviewing, CBT, DBT, ACT, etc. as a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their goals.
